Counselling for Adults Navigating Life's Big Questions
Welcome. If you're here, you may be carrying something heavy, and I'm glad you found your way to this page.
Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
Do you feel stuck in your life and unsure what your next step should be?
Are you so overwhelmed by work that you have no energy left to enjoy life outside of it?
Are you struggling in a relationship with a spouse, partner, or parent, wanting closeness but not sure what's healthy for you?
Do you find yourself overthinking everything you say and do, worried that you're "too much" or "not enough"?
Is a chronic health issue, or a difficult decision about your career or relationship, taking a toll on your confidence and well-being?
If you nodded along to any of these, you're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out on your own.

Approach to Counselling
I believe counselling should fit the person, not the other way around. That's why I use an eclectic approach and choose methods based on what you need. I connect most with strengths-based and psychodynamic approaches. I believe it's important to understand how harmful thought patterns or beliefs developed and how they get in the way of your life today. I also believe that uncovering and building on your strengths is one of the most effective paths to growth and healing.
In session, I'm warm, kind, and genuinely curious about your perspective. I'm gentle, and I'll take the time to build trust with you first. Once we've built that rapport, I won't shy away from inviting you to explore new ways of seeing things when I believe it will help you. You are the expert on your own life. I see my role as a supportive co-facilitator, working alongside you as you understand yourself better and uncover what you need.
Why Choose to Work with Me?
I've known I wanted to do this since I was 16. Even as a teenager, friends came to me for advice. I've always felt deep compassion for people who are struggling, and I enjoy meaningful conversations. It is an honour when someone feels safe enough to share their struggles with me, and I never take that trust lightly.
I bring a holistic perspective. As a Registered Social Worker and Registered Holistic Nutritionist with a diploma in natural nutrition, I can also help you explore the connection between mental health and nutrition, if that interests you.
I understand the challenges adults face. I enjoy working with adults of all ages and genders who are navigating relationships, self-worth and self-esteem, life transitions, burnout, boundaries, sexual orientation, and health concerns. I also have knowledge of midlife women's physical and mental health.
You'll feel valued and understood. That's what I want to be known for. My greatest reward is hearing about the difficult decisions my clients have made that improved their lives.
