Do the best you can until you know better

Are past traumas or painful experiences making it hard to feel grounded or connected to others?
Is your teen struggling emotionally, and you’re unsure how to support them without making things worse?
Do you feel stuck in old relationship patterns and wonder why the same conflicts keep showing up in your life?
Are you trying to navigate big life changes—like adulthood, identity, or loss—and feeling overwhelmed by it all?
Are you questioning your gender or sexual identity and looking for a space where you can explore safely and without judgment?
There is Hope
Process and heal from trauma in a safe, supportive space.
Learn strategies to better support your teen and strengthen trust and communication.
Gain insight into your relational patterns and develop healthier ways of connecting and repairing with others.
Feel more grounded and empowered as you move through transition.
Feel affirmed and supported in exploring your identity, and build self-compassion and clarity around who you are.
I believe healing starts with being truly seen and heard—without judgment. I’m committed to creating a space where clients feel safe enough to show up as they are and where all emotions, identities, and experiences are welcome. I approach therapy as a collaborative process rooted in trust, openness, and repair. My goal is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you understand yourself more deeply, uncover your strengths, and move toward the life and relationships you want. I value honesty, warmth, and adaptability in my work, and I strive to meet each person where they are.
I believe that growth often happens in small, meaningful shifts—in the moments we learn something new about ourselves, navigate a hard conversation, or sit with difficult feelings and come out stronger. Whether you're exploring your identity, working through trauma, navigating a family conflict, or just trying to make sense of your emotions, my goal is to support you in finding clarity, self-compassion, and hope. I want my clients to leave therapy not only with insight, but with the tools and confidence to carry that insight into their everyday lives.
“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”
Approach to Counselling
In my work as a counselor, I focus on building a strong and trusting relationship with each client—because I believe that meaningful change starts with feeling safe, seen, and understood. I approach therapy as a collaborative space where we can explore your experiences together with curiosity and compassion. I know that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable or even intimidating, so I prioritize creating an environment that is calm, non-judgmental, and grounded in mutual respect. When challenges arise, I model open communication and repair, so we can work through conflict together in a way that builds resilience and trust.
My practice is rooted in a client-centered and strengths-based approach, which means we move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. I integrate psychodynamic and narrative therapy to explore deeper patterns and themes. I also offer non-verbal modalities like art, sand tray, or play therapy to support clients who connect more easily through creative expression. For many clients, I find that blending structure with flexibility—focusing on goals while also making space for exploration—helps therapy feel both supportive and empowering. Whether we're working through trauma, identity, or life transitions, I aim to be an adaptive and affirming presence who walks with you through the healing and growth process.
