My work as a therapist is grounded in the belief that healing and growth emerge from genuine human connection. I meet every person with warmth, curiosity and care — paying close attention not only to what is said, but to the pauses, the shifts and the unspoken undercurrents of experience.
Approach to Counselling
I take a whole-person approach, recognizing that the challenges you face touch every part of your life. My counselling is personalized to you — your experiences, your perspectives, your strengths — to find solutions that fit your unique situation.
I gently name patterns, dynamics and truths that are not always easy to recognize or acknowledge. That honesty, held with care, is what helps people change and grow. I am straightforward and practical: the tools for change can be simple, easy to understand and ready to use right away.
"I want to create a space where people feel understood, where the unspoken is gently brought forward, and where meaningful, lasting change becomes possible."
My approach draws on evidence-based methods — Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing — all held within a trauma-informed lens. Together, we build a clear picture of your situation, how you are coping, where your strengths lie and what practical skills will serve you best.
A Specialization in Workplace Stress & Change
While I support people through a wide range of life challenges, I have a particular specialization in workplace stress, conflict and change. Work difficulties are rarely simple — they are often complex, layered and deeply personal.
I help you identify the root causes of what is happening, move from uncertainty to understanding, and draw on your natural strengths to find lasting solutions. No more guessing. Just clarity and a path forward.
What sets my work apart is the dual lens I carry as both a frontline social worker and a leader. I understand what it means to navigate systems that don't always support you — and I help you explore not only your inner world, but the broader context you are operating in.
For those in leadership, I bring a grounded, real-world perspective to the unique pressures of that role: the weight of responsibility, the isolation, the emotional strain of supporting others while your own experience goes unprocessed. I have lived that. I understand it. And I can help you navigate it.
